CUET UG 2026 Registration Open Latest Update, dates and eligibility

If you still have not decided, it is the high time as the registrations have begun. Yes! The Common University Entrance Test, commonly known as CUET UG 2026 registration is officially open! This is the perfect gateway to undergraduate programmes across central, state, deemed, and private universities in India. CUET 2026:
Let us first understand what CUET is and why it matters. So, The National Testing Agency is conducting CUET in the month of May. The date of the examination is still not finalised. But, it is expected to take place between May 11 and May 31. Exam conducted in 13 mediums across India and abroad. It serves as a standardised national-level entrance exam for undergraduate admissions in universities across India.
It replaces multiple individual entrance exams by offering a single platform where your performance determines admissions in hundreds of participating colleges and universities. For many students, CUET is a crucial milestone.
Registration:
Let us now talk about CUET 2026 registration and the important dates you must not forget to not miss the deadlines. The registration window starts from 3rd January 2026and ends on 30th January 2026 till 11.50 PM. The last date for the payment of fee is 31st January 2026.
In case, you feel that you have uploaded or entered some information incorrectly while filling in the application form, then you are given the opportunity to correct or basically rectify it during a particular time duration in which you are allowed.
But please be very careful while filling in the application form as not every mistake will be allowed to correct. The correction window will be from 2nd February to 4th February 2026. Exam Dates:

- Enter your basic details to create your account — name, email, phone number, and a password.
- Provide all personal, academic, and contact details. Ensure every field is correct — mistakes can be time-consuming to fix later!
- Select the subjects relevant to your desired course and program.
- Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and certificates exactly as specified. Sizes and formats matter!
- Pay the fees which can vary by category and number of subjects. You can pay using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. The last date for successful transaction is 31st January 2026
- Once done, download your confirmation page. Keep a printout for future reference.
